Base Radar
Discord DM the moment a non-authed player enters your TC radius
Know who's
near your base.
Base Radar is a free, server-side feature unique to MistyWisp. Link your Steam + Discord once, and you'll get a private DM the moment a non-authed player enters within 50 metres of one of your tool cupboards. No client mods. No EAC compromise. Pure vanilla Rust with one extra layer of awareness.
FAQ
- Is Base Radar a mod or a client-side cheat?
- No. Base Radar runs entirely on the server side using vanilla RCON. Nothing is installed on your PC and no game files are modified. EAC stays on. Anyone playing on MistyWisp can opt in to receive alerts — without it, the server is identical to any other vanilla Rust EU server.
- How does it know who owns a tool cupboard?
- The server uses the same auth list the game itself uses. Every TC stores the Steam IDs that have hammered it. The radar checks that list when computing alerts — owners and authed allies are filtered out, so only true intruders trigger a DM.
- What counts as an intrusion?
- A non-authed player enters a 50-metre sphere (3D, so vertical caves count) around one of your TCs and stays inside for at least 30 seconds continuously. The 30s threshold filters out players who pass through; the per-visit cooldown re-arms when they leave, so a scout-then-raid pattern still triggers a fresh alert on re-entry.
- Will I get spammed if a teammate or friend walks near?
- No. Anyone you've authed on a TC is excluded from that TC's alerts. Animal NPCs, scientists, and your own offline player avatar are also excluded.
- How do I sign up?
- Open /map on this site, sign in with Steam (one click — no password, OAuth via Steam's own login), then click Link Discord and authorize the bot. The bot sends a test DM within five seconds. From then on you'll receive a DM the moment a non-authed player enters one of your TC radii.
- What if I stop wanting alerts?
- Toggle the Alerts switch on /map to Off — your link stays but DMs pause. Sever fully unlinks Discord. Either is reversible.
